This book not only help you cope with addicitions but also is a resource of self healing. He convincingly rejects the 'tropical disease' explanation in favor of an anxiety disorder. Some of the arguments are fairly technical, but the authors go into great detail to explain the issues for those of us without the scientific background.
There is a chapter at the end of the book explaining the near collision between the Titanic and the New York at the start of the maiden voyage, and how it compares to the collision between Olympic and Hawke. He made a name for himself and he was secure until he found that Russian officials were robbing the companies that he was investing in. Received as promised and very helpful if you are rebuilding an engine. You feel gratified to know that the person who shook the foundations of Western thought was not a jerk.
