The Catholic Church finds it easy to deal with militant atheists of the Dawkins’ variety, who rant and yell at the Church from a distance. They are great non fiction books that my 2nd graders love. This is just a question of what art for what age. In that vein, if you start with the good hikes I've mentioned, you might also somewhat forgive Helms for needing to pad out the book with filler hikes.
**Added 24 September 2011: Since I wrote this review, I have finished all the hikes in Helm' book and have been working through another hiking book. This apparently came from President Obama as it would hurt his total appeasement plan of "resetting" relations with Russia and at the time Kerry himself was trying to get the Secretary of State position after Hillary Clinton. Depth where it was needed in the life and culture of this drug lord. My husband even has the audible copy on his phone for quick reference!. Among other things, his book discusses briefly but well the dilemma
